Cristie had a great visit with Selby at The Selby Fleetwood Gallery, Santa Fe. Works included paper origami style sculptures by Kevin Box.
The entrance to the eclectic Selby Fleetwood Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Adjacent to the front door sits a bronze sculpture by artist Kevin Box. The sculpture is lovingly named “Family Tree.”
“Birthday Cake” by artist Palo Klein Uber is in acrylic and French crayon on board. Uber has recorded a detailed account of the origins of this piece. Stumbling upon an ordinary object in the wee-hours of the morning resulted in this stunningly detailed work.

Our Office Manager will keep us organized and on task ensuring we are profitable. This person will be responsible for a wide variety of duties and will be an integral part of the design business working closely with the Principal Designer to develop systems and procedures. In addition to organizational and procedural responsibilities, he/she will manage our marketing and communications efforts; purchase orders, invoices and bill collections; manage design intern program. This is a part-time (24 hour per week) position with the opportunity to grow. Sorry no medical benefits.

Lit Dale Chihuly Sculpture
Alright, so maybe a lit Chihuly is a bit much as a chandelier for your home. But that’s no reason not to incorporate sculpture with a glow. Lets explore the world of sculpture as lighting, and see where your space can be illuminated with art.
In the vein of organic modern art, Hive has produced a series of light fixtures aimed at takes on basic shapes found in plants and animals. As the name indicates, many of Hive’s pieces are reminiscent of the hexagonal shape of a honeycomb. This fixture reminds us of plant roots, but is actually comprised of tiny human stick figures.
If you had any doubts about the certifiably artistic nature of this chandelier, then finding out that this item was designed specifically for the 2009 Milan Design week might just be enough to knock your socks off.
